I’m a writer based on southern Vancouver Island, and this is my somewhat-regularly-updated site. I work as the editor of SBC Surf Magazine, and I contribute words and photos to a number of other publications at home and abroad. The subjects that I’m most involved in these days include surfing and surf culture, food and farming, and the human and natural communities of the British Columbia coast.
